I have no idea what your plans are for the upcoming year. Maybe today is just another Monday for you or maybe you took some time to make new years resolutions. Regardless I know that every person reading this message has a desire to become the best version of themselves.

The new year is an opportunity to put the past behind you and start fresh. You can do this to the degree you choose. If you want to say to yourself that nothing changes then it likely won’t…for you. But if you make a point to decide that you will start this year different and have a new outlook on life then it can.

No matter what your exercise tendencies have been or your nutritional struggles you can take positive steps towards change. Losing weight is one of the most difficult things to do but you can do it and be successful. I want you to remind yourself of this today.

Take a moment to read the following affirmations¬†out loud to yourself…

I am capable of so much more than I think I am.
I have a desire to be fit and healthy.
I am able to achieve my goals.
I can start today.
I have a healthy body that allows me to move.

This is a great place to start. Come up with some of your own statements that speak directly to you. Say them out loud each day. Remind yourself that you can do this.
