There is a necessary step in your fitness journey that is key. You have to DREAM of what you hope to happen.
This is easy to overlook and you may not believe in yourself enough to envision what you hope to look like or what results you hope to accomplish. The lack of “seeing” the future outcome in your mind first can be a major stumbling block in anything you want to accomplish.
The thought needs to occur in your mind and you must know that it is possible. If you don’t believe in yourself it is not likely to happen.
This is much harder than one might think. Believing in something that has not happened requires purpose and conviction.
Purpose is something that drives you through the difficult days and moments. Conviction is an outcome of strong purpose. These two things carry you. When they are absent it makes the hard days extra hard.
This morning I want you to know that you can do anything you set your mind to. No matter how much weight you hope to lose or how impossible you think your goals are you can do it.
You need to “see it” before it happens. Buy some pants that you hope to fit in and hang them in your closet. Put an old picture up of yourself when you weighed less and were in better shape to remind you of where you want to be. Put a picture up in your bathroom of an inspiring physique so you see it everyday. These are a few tactics on how to work the muscles in your mind.
